What denomination is VCC?

While most listings categorize Vineyard churches as non-denominational, we are part of an association of churches known as The Vineyard: A Community of Churches. There are approximately 550 Vineyard churches in the U.S. Each Vineyard church is locally governed.

We like to say, “Come as you are.” Vineyard is a casual environment where most people wear jeans, including our pastors and leaders.

Do you have a youth program?

Yes, we have High School small groups and Middle School small groups that meet on Sunday evenings and classes for Middle School and High School students on Sunday mornings.

HIGH SCHOOL

  • Our High School Class meets during the second service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.  Our HS small group meets on the 2nd & 4th Sundays from 6 to 8 PM at various homes.  Contact Mike Wolfe or Orlando & Kristin de Bien for more information.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • Our middle school ministry (6-8th), RaD8, meets during the second service on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month. Our RaD8 small group meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from 6:30-8 PM here at the church. Contact Pastor Brian for more information.

These ministries are led by director teams.  Get more information about these programs by calling the church office at 740-927-3315. CLICK HERE and scroll down to see information about our youth programs.

Do you have a mid-week service?

We occasionally hold a special service during the week, but most of the time we do not offer a mid-week service. Instead, we offer small groups (we call them Connect Groups) that meet throughout the area for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. CLICK HERE for a listing of available groups.

How do I get involved?

We recommend you first check out one of our Sunday services. From there, ways to get involved include becoming part of a Connect Group, attending a Newcomer’s Class or one of our discipleship classes (Walking with Jesus Classes), or volunteering to help serve.
